5. Interpretation and Action: Compare the measured TIR with the allowable tolerance. If the runout exceeds specifications, investigate causes such as a bent shaft, debris behind the pulley, improper mounting, or a damaged pulley itself. Corrective action may involve re-mounting, shimming, or replacing the component.
