4. Pressure Rating & Temperature Range:​ State the maximum working pressure (in psi or bar) and the operational temperature range (e.g., -40°C to +200°C) . This determines the material strength and design validation needed.

5. Critical Dimensions with Tolerances:​ Provide a clear diagram with all key dimensions. For non-critical features, use standard tolerances. But for interfaces like the sealing surface, specify tighter geometric tolerances (like concentricity and perpendicularity) .

ProcurementProMark:​ Totally agree on samples. When you get the sample, do a proper inspection. Check the thread with a thread gauge, verify the sealing surface finish, and if possible, do a pressure test. For the manufacturer, look for those who offer comprehensive services like CNC machining and turning, and have certifications like ISO9001 . Their ability to work with various materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and brass is a plus . Also, clarify payment terms; for new customers, it's often 30% deposit, 70% before shipment .
