选择材料时,你到底应该关注什么?
光知道材料种类还不够,你得明白哪些性能指标直接影响你的产品。
耐热温度是头等大事:电子产品工作时会发热。如果外壳材料耐热性不足,就可能变形甚至熔化。比如,靠近马达的部件或充电器外壳,就必须选用耐高温的材料(如PC,其耐热温度可达130℃甚至更高)。我个人的经验是,一定要留足安全余量,设想最极端的使用场景。

绝缘性能关乎安全:这是底线!塑料本身是良好的绝缘体,但不同材料的绝缘等级仍有差异。对于直接接触电路或高压部件的壳体,体积电阻率(通常要求高于10¹⁴ Ω·cm)是一个关键参数,它能有效防止漏电,确保用户安全。
外观和手感也很重要:材料决定了最终产品的外观质感和可装饰性。ABS和PC容易加工出高光或哑光等不同质感,也便于喷涂和电镀。如果你想做色彩鲜艳或者有细腻纹理的外壳,就要选择易于表面处理的材料。
从想法到实物:制造工艺浅谈
确定了材料,接下来就要通过合适的工艺把它变成外壳。注塑成型是绝对的主流工艺。简单来说,就是把塑料颗粒加热熔化,然后注射到模具的型腔里,冷却后打开模具,一个外壳就成型了。这种工艺效率高,适合大规模生产,能做出非常复杂的形状。
